The TeqControl Software CMT module gives Apparel and Footwear Companies full control over the sourcing of garments from both local and off-shore suppliers.

An Offshore CMT Textile Factory

By interfacing with Stock Control out-sourced garments can be controlled by style, colour, size & fit while fabrics can be controlled at dye lot and roll level.

Machine manufacturing fabric Bills of materials are produced for each finished style and contain all raw materials that are necessary to manufacture the finished garment, including any packaging materials. Alternatively a CMT Supplier specific BOM can be created to allow variations between suppliers. For instance it may be more cost effective for certain suppliers to locally source some of the raw materials themselves.
As a CMT order is raised the system will produce a material requirement proposal based on the correct bill of materials (including any minimum/maximum levels applied). This allows purchase orders to be automatically raised, which can be delivered directly to the outsourced manufacturing facility.
The materials requirement proposal can also highlight where your businesses own internal warehouse/stock holding can be used to fulfil a CMT order. These materials are entered onto a commercial invoice which also contains commodity code and weight information as required by HM Revenue and Customs.

Secure, remote access to the TeqControl Software allows CMT Suppliers to book in the raw material quantities received on the shipment. As garments are cut, the CMT Supplier can update TeqControl which will automatically reduce raw material stocks as necessary in line with the corresponding Bill of Materials. This along with barcoded packaging labels gives excellent traceability and a real-time view on off-shore operations.
When the garments are ready to be shipped the CMT Supplier can record the quantities of each SKU have been completed and are on the shipment. In doing so the remaining raw materials are reduced and finished goods stock figures are updated into an 'in-transit warehouse'.
As the shipment is received back at the final warehouse each garment can be scanned and located, allowing the system to automatically reduce the work-in-progress figures and update the relevant CMT order. Alternatively if barcoded stock is not required, the number of garments received can be counted by hand and entered into the TeqControl Software manually.
